The Malorian Arms 3516 is an iconic, high-powered handgun featured in Cyberpunk 2077, wielded by the legendary rockerboy Johnny Silverhand. This custom firearm is a symbol of rebellion and raw firepower, designed to deliver devastating damage with precision. Featuring a sleek black and chrome aesthetic with glowing red accents, the Malorian 3516 boasts an aggressive, futuristic design that perfectly complements the cyberpunk aesthetic. It is renowned for its fully automatic firing mode, incendiary rounds, and unique ergonomic grip tailored for high-speed combat in Night City’s most dangerous confrontations.

Project Summary:
- Fabricated a high-fidelity replica of the Malorian Arms 3516 from Cyberpunk 2077, featuring advanced resin printing, interactive lighting, and precision painting to replicate its futuristic aesthetic.
Design and Fabrication Steps:
[1] 3D Printing and Surface Preparation:
- Printed all components using an Anycubic Mono M5S with Anycubic Tough Resin for durability and intricate detail.
- Sanded parts with 400- and 2000-grit wet sandpaper to achieve a smooth, polished surface.
- Used RESIONE Clear Water-Washable Resin for the handle grips to replicate the Malorian’s signature transparent amber effect, coated with Rustoleum UV-resistant gloss clear coat.
[2] Painting and Detailing:
- Applied a base coat of TAMIYA Gloss Black lacquer to all parts.
- Airbrushed with Alclad II metallic paints to achieve the metallic finish:
(a) Stainless Steel for lighter metallic accents.
(b) Gunmetal for darker metallic surfaces.
(c) Magnesium for gradient effects in specific regions.
- Used a black acrylic wash to emphasize details and create a subtle weathered effect.
[3] Electronics Integration:
- Integrated pre-wired 3mm red, yellow, and green LED lights for interactive lighting effects.
- Wired LEDs using 22 AWG solid-core wires, soldered connections secured with heat-shrink tubing.
- Powered LEDs with A23 batteries housed in a hidden compartment, ensuring easy access and maintenance.
- Incorporated Keiurot 12V waterproof LED strips to enhance internal glow effects.
[4] Assembly and Modular Design:
- Connected parts using Starbond CA glue for secure assembly while maintaining alignment.
- Designed modular components to allow for disassembly and repair of the lighting system.
