The One-Eyed Mask is a legendary piece of Titan exotic armor in Destiny 2, feared and revered across the battlefields of the Solar System. Crafted from ancient Cabal designs scavenged from the Red War, this ominous helmet embodies ruthless efficiency and unwavering vigilance. Its single, glowing eye scans the battlefield with relentless precision, tracking enemies and marking those who dare oppose its wearer.
Infused with the power of the Light, the One-Eyed Mask grants Titans an uncanny ability to seek vengeance—enemies who inflict harm are marked for retribution, allowing the wearer to hunt them down with ruthless efficiency. Upon defeating their marked foe, Guardians are rewarded with a surge of health and a temporary boost in combat prowess, ensuring they remain dominant in the heat of battle.
This exotic armor piece became a symbol of power for Guardians who embrace an aggressive playstyle, turning every encounter into an opportunity for dominance. Whether in the Crucible or on the frontlines against the Darkness, the One-Eyed Mask is more than just armor—it's a predator's gaze, always watching, always waiting.

Engineering Skills Demonstrated
- Additive Manufacturing: Printed intricate parts using resin for high detail and durability.
- Surface Finishing: Wet-sanded resin prints for a smooth base, followed by layered paint applications.
- Painting Techniques: Used liquid latex masking and layered lacquers to replicate worn metallic finishes.
- Assembly and Detailing: Integrated mesh for ventilation and layered components for depth and realism.
Project Summary:
- Designed and fabricated a replica of the One-Eyed Mask from Destiny 2 using high-precision 3D printing, advanced airbrushing, and detailed weathering techniques.
Design and Fabrication Steps:
[1] 3D Printing:
- Printed all components using an Anycubic Mono M5S with grey Anycubic Tough Resin, ensuring high detail and durability.
- Post-processed parts by washing them in 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and curing them with the Anycubic Wash and Cure Station 2.0.
- Reduced printing fumes with ANYCUBIC Mini Purifier accessories featuring activated carbon filters.
[2] Surface Preparation:
- Wet-sanded parts with 400- and 2000-grit sandpaper for a smooth finish.
- Applied a base coat of TAMIYA gloss black spray paint to enhance subsequent layers of metallic paints.
[3] Painting and Detailing:
- Simulated chipped metal on the faceplate with Alclad II lacquer paints and liquid latex masking to reveal metallic layers beneath.
- Achieved worn wire mesh effects on the mouthguard with Alclad II stainless steel dry brushing.
- Painted decorative patterns on the dome using a combination of matte white TAMIYA spray lacquer, rubber black, and vinyl stencils for precision.
- Hand-painted intricate gold and white details on the eyes using Alclad II pale gold lacquer and Testors enamel.
[4] Assembly:
- Used Starbond CA glue to securely assemble parts.
- Added a weathering wash of black and brown acrylic paint to enhance depth and realism, wiping it away selectively to highlight crevices.
